Privacy statement

Last updated: 28 October 2026

Privacy sounds like small print. Not here. On this page you can read in two minutes what I do with your data. And above all: what I don't do with it.

Who am I?

I am Hans Voorn, owner of Crystal Clear Company B.V. I am responsible for what happens to your data. No department, no call centre: just me.

Crystal Clear Company B.V.
Stachouwerweg 21, 1261 HV Blaricum, the Netherlands

What data do I collect?

Very little. Really.

  • Your email address and your message, when you fill in the contact form.
  • Whatever else you tell me when we email, call or meet.
  • Technical data such as your IP address. My hosting provider's server keeps this so the site stays safe and works. I only look at it when something goes wrong.

What I don't do: track you with cookies, build advertising profiles of you or quietly put you on a newsletter.

Why do I use it?

To reply to you. That's it.

If our contact leads to a conversation or an assignment, I also use your data to prepare and carry it out.

In GDPR terms: I process your data because you contact me and I have a legitimate interest in replying to you. If it becomes an assignment, the legal basis is the performance of our contract.

Who do I share it with?

With no one who wants to make money from it. I never sell your data. Not even for a good offer.

Only two parties are involved, because otherwise the site and my email would not work:

  • my hosting provider, where the website and the form run;
  • my email service, where your message arrives.

They may only use your data to provide that service. If one of them processes data outside the European Union, the safeguards required by the GDPR apply.

If the law requires me to share data, for example with the Dutch tax authority, I will. Nothing more.

How long do I keep it?

No longer than necessary.

  • Contact messages: up to 12 months after our last contact.
  • If it becomes an assignment, I keep the data that ends up in my accounts, such as invoices, for 7 years. That is a legal obligation.
  • Server log files: as briefly as technically necessary.

How do I protect it?

The site uses an encrypted connection (https). Only I have access to the messages that come in. And I keep the website and the server as secure as reasonably possible.

What are your rights?

Many. It is your data, after all. You may:

  • see which data I hold about you;
  • have it corrected if something is wrong;
  • have it deleted;
  • object to its use, or have its use restricted;
  • receive it in a handy file.

Send an email to hans@crystalclearcompany.nl. You will hear from me within a month. Usually much sooner.

Not satisfied?

Do you think I am careless with your data? Let me know first, and I will fix it. If we can't sort it out together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens): autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.

Will this statement change?

If I change how I handle your data, I will update this page. The date of the latest version is always at the top.
